Bread & Butter Berlin – Selected
Berlin, January 2005
Bread and Butter becomes more exclusive, only selected ‘striking’ brands and selected visitors this season.
A big bold graphic bear footprint represents this strong stand.
Wink feels the raw and graphic vibe and creates some monumental pieces.
Memorable were: the Zeitgeist wall, a tribute to the Berlin wall, we built a real wall, painted Zeitgeist on in, demolished it, and made a raw beaded curtain from the leftover debris…
The Buttkicker Bear tunnel with a vibrating floor and a very angry bear on video.
The entrance experience where all guests leave their own ‘footprint’ which come together as a ceiling of copied hands representing the lucky bastards that were selected…
And there is the launch of BBB’s kid-sister: Milk & Honey, for which Wink designs a series of huge feminine lampshades, decorated with big antique porcelain beads.
